2024 Turbo Tax Home and Business Desk Top Schedule C line 27b

I am encountering the same "bug" in the 2024 edition of Turbo Tax Home and Business. Line 27b is about Energy Efficient Commercial Building Deduction - I have none. I followed the suggestion from this community and left it blank instead of entering a "0". I now passed the Smart Check. HOWEVER, each time I open Turbo Tax, there is still a NEED REVIEW in green next to Profit or Loss from Business. How can I get rid of the NEED REVIEW? SmartCheck does not detect any error. Any advice? Thanks.

The Needs Review message won't prevent e-file; you can ignore it. Make sure there is not an empty supporting detail worksheet hanging up in the Energy efficient Commercial Buildings credit.

You have to delete the Supporting Details pop-up to remove the zero. Return to the entry in step by step mode. When you click or right click in the field, an empty Supporting Details pop up box will appear. Click on the Red X Remove button and the error will be removed.

Thank you very much. How do I get to the Supporting Detail page? In the 2024 edition of TT Home & Bz, The Search function is pre-popualted, does NOT allow free text entry of a topic. TT pre-populates topics such as IRS form availability, Refund status, etc. It is totally not helpful. When I asked TT Support (live person), he asked me to GOOGLE instead of offering a way to SEARCH for a certain topic. Thanks again.

Here is how to get to the supporting details for line 27 of Schedule C.

Go to the Forms mode in your Home and Business
locate Schedule C in the list of forms on the left. Select it.
Now look in the right pane and scroll to Box 27. Click in it once and a + sign will appear.
Click on the + sign that appears on the left hand side of the Box.
This is your supporting detail Box,
