I'm not sure how the program is handling this scenario but if the 1310 is prepared properly, the check should be mailed to the address you provided (e.g., your home address) and the check should be made payable to you.

I am preparing a decedent's return and have prepared the Form 1310 with the designated recipient's name and address. When I attempt to e-file the return, Turbo Tax gives me a message that the refund will be mailed to the decedent at their home address. I have talked with Turbo Tax and they say that if I want assurance that the check will be mailed to the designated representative on the Form 1310 to mail it in! Has anyone had the same situation, and if so, did the paper check refund get mailed to the person and address on the Form 1310?
