When you file your taxes, TurboTax will ask you How would you like to pay your federal taxes? One of the options are to Request an IRS payment Plan. TurboTax will walk you through the steps to setup your payment plan.

The monthly minimum payment for an installment plan is your balance due divided by 72. Refer to the TurboTax article What is the Minimum Monthly Payment for an IRS Installment Plan? for additional information.

You will need to scroll down to the middle of the page to select the type of plan you want. You can choose short term or long term. Then you will just walk through and answer the questions to apply for the payment plan.
