Filing an amended 2024 Return - Unable to Transmit Returns

I am getting the message "Tax Year 2024 transmissions are not available..Turbo Tax is not ready tp process Tax Year 2024 for this return.

I am using Turbo Tax Home and Business version and also filing Georgi state.

Is this a matter of having to wait until for an update in the state or federal?

I believe the issue is with the Georgia tax return. It appears that the Georgia website is not yet accepting Georgia state e-filed amended tax returns for tax year 2024.

You can indicate that you do not want to e-file the state amended return at this time in the File section of the program. This lets you e-file the 2024 federal amended tax return.

Does anyone know when we will be able to file an 2024 amended return for Georgia?

Expected today. The 4684 is available for federal returns but not for all states. Some states haven’t responded to Intuit about conformity with the Federal Disaster Relief Act so we are blocking those state returns for now. GA finally confirmed that they conform with Federal and GA will be live after this week's update (Friday expected available).
