    <description>&lt;P&gt;Yes. &amp;nbsp;The reason they did not withhold any type of taxes is because your income is below the standard deduction. &amp;nbsp;They only start withholding taxes, once your &lt;A href="https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/p15t.pdf" target="_blank"&gt;income for the pay period&lt;/A&gt; would be greater than the standard deduction, unless you tell them to withhold an additional amount.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Box 2 is empty on all three of my w2s. My income for 2024 was $7,785 below the standard deduction. I remember putting on my w4 that I am not exempt from federal tax withholding. Could it be because my income was below the standard deduction?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;That is possible. &amp;nbsp; You did not make enough to have a tax liability. &amp;nbsp; If no tax was withheld and this was your ONLY income, then you are not required to file a tax return unless you have a 1095A for marketplace health insurance.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
