TurboTax keeps logging me out even though I have cleared everything!

I have cleared everything, restarted my computer and tried a different browser but TurboTax keeps logging me out. I can't complete my tax return.

To complete your tax return with TurboTax you can try turning off your pop-up blocker if you have enabled it. If that does not help, try using a different web browser again. If you still can not log in try going back to your first browser and deleting all cookies.

Make sure your system meets these requirements:

Operating system 2024: Windows 10 (64-bit) or later
Administrator rights are required to install and run TurboTax.
Hard Drive space 2024:1 GB for TurboTax (plus up to 4.5 GB for Microsoft.
RAM:4 GB or more recommended
Internet Connection:1 Mbps modem (broadband connection highly recommended). Required for product activation, software updates and optional online features

Open your return in TurboTax
Select the search icon and type your question in the search bar

I have done all of that multiple times and TurboTax continues to log me out. I have tried several different computers and browsers. I called for help and was hung up on after 10 minutes of holding while they researched the issue. The problem is not on my side! They refuse to refund my payment now too!

Have you completed a disk cleanup? To preform a disk clean up follow these steps:

open "File Explorer"
right-click on the drive you want to clean, select "Properties"
then click "Disk Cleanup" - this will launch the Disk Cleanup tool where you can choose which unnecessary files to delete, like temporary files and Recycle Bin items, to free up space on your hard drive

I’m working on a Chromebook so I’m not seeing File Explorer.

Will TurboTax allow you to Sign in long enough to access Live Help?

Sign in to TurboTax.
Select Help (question mark) or Live Help.
Enter your question, or type in Talk to a specialist.
Follow the prompts to set up a call.

I was finally able to log in through the app on phone to add AND pay for Live. After 30 minutes on the phone, the rep found the problem preventing me from filing. Their AI system was bringing forward a carryover that I didn't need or want. Cost an extra $80 for the help but I'm all filed for the year and shouldn't have this issue going forward.
