1099 MISC INCOME - TT not letting me check NO

I don't have any 1099 MISC Income.

When asked in the Business Income section if I have a 1099 Mic Form, I keep checking NO and move forward but when I check to make sure it's NO, I see TT has reverted my answer to YES.

Didn't have any in 2023 either.

HELP!

It depends. First it's important to complete the section and finish anything else on the return. Each time you go back I can see why it may popu;ate again. However, try deleting the 1099-MISC altogether. Select the option for the product you are using below.

Thanks for responding.

Can't delete the Form since there is no 1099 MISC form generated by Turbo Tax in Forms.

The 1099 is a Form one gets from people or companies, if they pay you over a certain amount.

It's a section in the Business Income part of Turbo Tax, TT Home and Business software. where one has to answer a YES or NO question, if you receive the 1099.

My answer is NO.

Turbo Tax won't let me answer No. It continually reverts to YES.

And again, there is no Form, in Forms section, to delete!

I think this could be why SO MANY of us are seeing this: Business Income and Expenses ' Needs Review.

There's now multiple threads about NEEDS REVIEW" in community.

It's a bug in turbo tax that needs fixing.
