    <description>&lt;P&gt;I would try to move the file to the second computer’s hard drive before opening it. &amp;nbsp; And you really shouldn’t go back and forth with the file. &amp;nbsp;You can get out of sync and mess it up. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>How do I share a return between desktop/laptop computers?</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I have the return ".tax2024" on a google shared drive. &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I have two computer with TT Desktop installed and licensed.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;On the first computer,&amp;nbsp; I can open the file fine. &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;One the second computer it asks me for a document password.&amp;nbsp; I did not apply a password to this file and have no idea what it would be.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;No, I will not be trying to open on both computers at the same time, but want to be able to switch back and forth as needed.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Why would it mess up the file?&amp;nbsp; There is no technical reason that it would unless the app is storing state outside of the file.&amp;nbsp; This is done all the time with other applications.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
