      <description>&lt;P&gt;So I spoke to customer support and the rep figured it out.&amp;nbsp; She told me to submit the federal without the state and it worked.&amp;nbsp; She then told me to try to submit the state and it didn't work.&amp;nbsp; She figured that all of the forms for NYS were not updated and told me to wait until today and try it.&amp;nbsp; Once I opened Turbo Tax and did the update. lo and behold, there were NYS updated and I was able to submit the state today.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Update: Intuit just pushed through an update for California dated 2/12/25. It detected it as soon as I started turbo tax. I didn't need to do anything.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;After the update installed my return was accepted.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So YES it was all on intuits shody programming. So frustrating . Will NOT be back ever again&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

There was an update done when I started.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I got the error when I tried to e-file federal plus California.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;After reading these messages I tried doing the federal by itself. It worked.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;However, I am still getting the same error when e-filing the California return.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So somehow the previous bug fix did not fix the problem in all cases.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;So I just spoke to a representative.&amp;nbsp; Apparently California is not ready to accept anything beyond a basic 1040 tax return.&amp;nbsp; So if you have other forms basically outside W-2's and other basic forms they won't accept until he told me February 27th possibly.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I wish they had error handling for this so it just said California did not accept rather than an update error.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
