Says I do not Qualify for the Child and Dependent Care Credit. Specifically “You are not receiving the child and dependent care credit because your spouse does not have any earned income”. I’m single, specifically widowed (2019) and indicated such in my filing status. There literally is no spouse. How do I fix this?

Did you use Single as your filing status? You cannot use Qualifying Surviving Spouse if your spouse died in 2019. If you are single and have a dependent child you could file Head of Household.

Am I Head of Household?

https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-filing-status/qualify-head-household-2021/L0NxUtVc2_US_en_US?uid=m5x19jkx

What is a "qualifying person" for Head of Household?

If you qualify as Head of Household, when you enter your marital status (single or married filing separately) into MyInfo, and then enter your qualifying dependent, TurboTax will offer HOH as your filing status.

In my info I chose Single and Head of House Hold. Of my 2 children 1 is under 12 years old and not disabled. That is the one for whom Im claiming care for. All of my W2s have been entered. All of the providers have addresses and EINs and are the same that I have used in previous years. I have never encountered this before and have used Turbotax for atleast 10 yrs. The amount claimed is above what was put in my FSA so I should get some credit on the difference as I have in the past
