      <description>&lt;P&gt;No, you cannot enter a prior tax year W-2 on the 2024 tax return.&amp;nbsp; Those W-2's need to be added to the tax return for the year of the W-2.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;No. &amp;nbsp;You can only include a W-2 on a return in the year you earned the income. &amp;nbsp;So in 2024 you can only include your 2024 W-2's, in 2023 only your 2023 W-2's, and so on. &amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you did not file returns for these years, you would need to file a return or amend your returns to include them if you did file and left them off.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If you owe taxes for these W-2's then you would need to pay the taxes as the IRS can go back many years for unfiled returns. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If you have a refund due for these returns, then you would only be able to claim the refund for the last 3 years. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
