      <description>&lt;P&gt;The dependent exemption is shown on the top of page 1 under the &lt;B&gt;Dependents &lt;/B&gt;section of your federal income tax return. &amp;nbsp;You can also see the dollar amount of your exemptions without printing your tax return. In your program go to &lt;B&gt;My Account &lt;/B&gt;at the top right of your screen and click &lt;B&gt;Tools &lt;/B&gt;in the drop-down menu.&lt;B&gt; &lt;/B&gt;&amp;nbsp;From there, select&lt;B&gt; View Tax Summary &lt;/B&gt;and on the&lt;B&gt; Review Tax Summary &lt;/B&gt;page, scroll down to the fifth line that reads Exemption amount. &amp;nbsp;In 2016, each exemption is for $4,050, so divide the dollar amount by $4,050 and you will get the number of dependent exemptions that are currently included on your tax return. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
