As a AARP/UnitedHealthcare member they say we can get a 25% discount on Turbo Tax. We would like to know what our total fees would be prior to using Turbo Tax this year. We have been a Turbo Tax customer for several years but there are many other tax assistance companies wanting our business. Thanks for your prompt reply and assistance.

Do you want to know for the Online version or the Desktop program you install on your computer? Do you get the discount on the Online version or the Desktop program?

There are 3 Online versions, the Free Edition, Deluxe and Premium. The Online version you have to use is based on what you need to enter. So I would start in Deluxe and if you try to enter something that Deluxe doesn't have you will have to upgrade to Premium. Fees are determined at the time you file or pay. You can pay early to lock in a current lower price.

For the Desktop program, You can buy the Desktop Download program here or in stores or online like Amazon, Costco, Walmart, etc.
