      <description>&lt;P&gt;Yes, you have the right concept, but there is a little twist.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You must include half of the Social Security as income.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;In the case you suggested you would include $10,000 of the $20,000 you received in Social Security.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;That would leave you $24,000 for other income.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
