    <description>&lt;P&gt;I have installed desktop TurboTax2024 and worked with it until this past week.&amp;nbsp; Today, when I try to run it, I continue to get the message " your configuration has been modified (prd.ini, startup) please reinstall".&amp;nbsp; I have followed all the steps listed on your tech support article.&amp;nbsp; Uninstalled, reinstalled, updated computer, restarted, run as administrator; nothing seems to work.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In all my years using TT, this is the first time I have run into an issue.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Here's more steps you can try:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:16px;"&gt;Run a virus scan if you haven't done so recently. If no viruses are found, try each of these steps to see if they resolve this error.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;OL&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Close any programs that are running.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Run &lt;STRONG&gt;Windows Update.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Temporarily disconnect from the internet.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Temporarily disable&amp;nbsp;virus-protection and &lt;A href="https://ttlc.intuit.com/content/p_cg_tt_na_cas_na_article:L0zdImpg8_US_en_US" target="_blank"&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:16px;"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;other security software&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/A&gt;.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Install TurboTax again.&lt;/LI&gt;
