Hello. My non-dependent child was in my healthcare plan through Marketplace for one month.Do I need to state that it was a shared plan? She also had her own 1095 because after canceling with me she applied on her own. Also, she already filed and she missed putting it was shared, does she need to amend her return?

Yes, you will need to indicate that you had a shared plan and allocate the portions of premium and credit to your return that apply (or that the two of you agreed upon.) If she claimed 100% of the shared policy, and you don't wish to claim 0%, she will need to amend her return after it has been processed and any refund that she is entitled to has been received.

I apologize for my ignorance. Can I put 100% in my return and hers 0? If so, would she still have to amend?
