1099 nec box 6

I have a 1099 nec and am having trouble with box 6. It has sc for the state on 1099 but the number is blank. Box 7 on 1099 has amount in it so I don't know what to do. Turbo tax won't allow me to add the number in 7 then leave 6 blank like it is on the 1099 nec.

Anything in box 5 for state withholding? If not then leave all boxes 5, 6 & 7 Blank, no spaces

No box 5 is empty. Box 6 says sc for state but doesn't have any numbers. And box 7 has numbers in it. I seen some people say if 5 is blank leave all blank. Then I seen some say use the same number as the payers tin in box 6. So when it ask to click the box if anything is in box 5 threw 7 should I click it then leave them blank and just don't click the box at all?

Yes, based on your description, don't enter anything at all.

Some software products that generate 1099-NECs automatically fill in box 6 and sometimes box 7 whether or not they are needed, but if there is no entry in box 5, which is the tax withheld and sent to a state, then there is no point to entering boxes 6 and 7 at all.
