On your 2024 tax return you need to delete him as a dependent. In the My Info section of the online program delete the dependent.

So terribly sorry for your loss. If you are preparing a 2023 return, you have to file it by mail. It cannot be e-filed.

He cannot be claimed on a 2024 tax return so his information should not be in MY INFO on a 2024 return.
