turboTax 2024 locks up when I press the file tab

I've tried several times. It locks up, and I reboot; I open turbo tax and it locks up again when I click on the "file" tab.

I lost some data the first time, but I now save the return before I get to the "file" button. It passes the review with no errors. The whole program locks up when I hit the "file" tab and Windows says Turbotax is not responding.

I have the same problem. I found that if I just wait it will eventually open the File tab. It might take a full minute or more.

Yes, I waited for a few minutes and TurboTax started working again. I was able to send my completed federal tax return. Thanks for the suggestion.
