topic State Withholding has decimal error- 10x higher than expected. W2 is filled out correctly with no typos or misplaced punctuation. Turbotax glitch? in Get your taxes done using TurboTax

I am filling jointly with 2 W2s. One box 17 is $7k. One is $5k. Yet the State Tax Withholding that TurboTax calculates is $110k, not $11k.

There are no typos in the W2s. All the numbers are correct with the correct punctuation. I've checked them myself and also had someone else confirm. I've removed and re-added them several times with no change to this error.

How can I get TurboTax to stop glitching on my state withholding? I've been filling through TurboTax for years and never had this problem before.

I resolved this issue shortly after posting this.

Here's what happened for those encountering the same problem:

I had a 1099-INT that I had automatically scanned in. The "other boxes filled in" was never checked as all those boxes were blank.

However, TurboTax for some reason *had* populated one of these hidden boxes (box 17) with information that was not on my 1099-INT. Clearing this resolved the discrepancy.

Check all hidden fields in your scanned documents to be sure it didn't slip anything in like it did for me.
