Failed Validation Error

I keep getting a Failed Validation Error when I try to submit my taxes for e-file. I check for updates as it says & everything is up to date. I try again & get the same message. I have tried restarting the computer & nothing seems to work.

Here are several troubleshooting steps that you can try:

Make sure your Windows Software is up to date.
If you are using a downloaded version, uninstall and reinstall the program from your MyDownloads folder. How do I find my TurboTax for Windows software download?
If that doesn't help, try a manual update. What is a manual update?
Turning off your VPN and anti-virus software during the update can help as well.

Now we cry because they already have our money and this software and support are garbage.

Same... Tried everything mentioned. Even installed it on another labptop and PAID an additional $40 to download another state form which should be included in the original purchase. Nothing worked. Still showing failed validation. This will likely be my last year using the software.

Update: Intuit just pushed through an update for California dated 2/12/25. It detected it as soon as I started turbo tax. I didn't need to do anything.

After the update installed my return was accepted.

So YES it was all on intuits shody programming. So frustrating . Will NOT be back ever again
