i'm not understanding do i need to do a different form for my second W-2

Yes, you need to enter both W-2s.

Go back to the W-2 section and look for a button that says something like "Add another W-2". Click on it and add your second W-2.

You will see the income from both W-2s added into line 1a on your 1040.

ALL of your W-2’s must be entered on the SAME tax return.

Go to Federal>Wages & Income to enter a W-2.

After you enter the first one, you click Add W-2.
