    <description>&lt;P&gt;Im.doing ITIN application for my spouse with my federal tax retun.&amp;nbsp; When I do the state return what do i put on my spouse social.security box? Do i leave it blank? She has no ss or ITIN yet. So how do I mail the state return with doing W-7?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;You can write in "Applied For" on the state return for the social security number. &amp;nbsp;It is best not to leave it blank. &amp;nbsp;You can mail it to the state address indicated for your return. &amp;nbsp;The state will contact you if anything is needed to process the return. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
