The Extra $40 Refund Processing Service charge (45 in California) is if you select to have the Turbo Tax fees deducted from your federal refund. Or you can pay upfront with a credit card to avoid the extra charge. Go back through the File tab and unselect Pay with Refund and enter your credit card.
