I am trying to file my taxes this year through by mail like last year. When I download my Return, the first page doesn't show instructions on how to file by mail.

Last year it showed mail instructions. To my surprise, it didn't show this time.

If you don't want to e-file your tax return, you can file it by mail. Please see this help article for step-by-step instructions for both Online and Download/Desktop versions of TurboTax.

If you are using TurboTax Online:

If the File by mail option isn’t available, you probably previously selected to pay your TurboTax fees through your tax refund. You need to have paid for the product in order to print a copy. To file by mail, you’ll need to instead pay with a credit or debit card. Here’s how to change your payment method from pay by refund, to pay by credit or debit card. Once you change your payment method, you'll see the File by mail option as described above. Select this and continue to the next step.
Note: You’ll need to pay any tax balance due by check when you file by mail.

Also, when you have completed and printed your return, the first page in your TurboTax printout is your instructions. This page gives you the address to send your return to, and any forms you need to include with your return.
