if you mean do you need to include a Certificate of Deposit account in your taxes then yes if it paid interest in 2024 and you should receive a 1099-INT for it from your bank within next few weeks if not available already.

Yes, if the CD paid interest in 2024, you will need to include the interest you received from it. Your bank should send you a 1099-INT by January 31st. If you do not receive one, you can check on their website to see if they are sending it digitally.
