When will the updated Turbo Tax software be available for online filers? Parts of the Federal Income section indicate dates of availability such as 12/23 (Interest and Dividends) and 1/11 (IRAs, Pension). Will they be available this month?

Those dates have passed. The Desktop program has been updated. What trouble are you having? Have you updated your program? Are you on Windows or Mac?

Thanks. I am on Windows. Do I need to restart the download process? I do want to lose some of the information I have already entered.

No you won’t lose anything. Go up to Online - Check for updates. Updates usually come out on Thursdays.
