TURBO TAX SUCKS! I bought mine at COSTCO! But, Turbotax goes to my account and asks me to enter all my info.... It does not tell me where to enter the code.....! Give me a break... this is absurd and I'm wasting my time... why can't you make it simple? I think your company is crooked and money-hungry and NOT USER FRIENDLY.

I am dealing with this issue right now, I was just on the phone with Intuit TurboTax and they said Costco was supposed to supply purchasers with the unique 16 character code (letters and numbers), but they failed to do so. None of the information on the receipt is that code as verified by Intuit customer service. There was no direction from the cashier to go to order pickup to "pick up" this 16 character code either in case that was the solution. Someone somewhere messed this up royally as Intuit told me that they are starting to receive this same question over and over again regarding Costco TurboTax purchases and it's only January, can't imagine the fiasco as April draws near. Any advice out there?

@thephillipses Did you buy from Costco in the store or from Costco Online? In the store after you paid you were suppose to go to the pickup window to get the actual package with the code.

Fron the store itself, and the cashier never mentioned going to the pickup window. Since there is no more CD-ROM as this is a download only software purchase, this seemed to make sense, but I will try going back to the store and the pickup window for the code. Would be nice if they trained the cashiers to tell you where to go and/or had the receipt state to pick up the code at the pickup window.

Even when you bought the CD from Costco you had to go to the pickup window to get it. Every year we get a few questions about Costco. I always buy from Costco. Used to buy the CD in the store but now I buy from Costco Online. Be sure to take the receipt back with you.

Right! I got the package from Costco, but there is NO license code ANYWHERE. I'm beyond infuriated. WTH!
