That makes no sense. The online software is only for 2024. You cannot use online for 2023.

Or are you using the desktop download? Did you use last year's download by mistake? Go to Forms mode and see what is on all the forms.

What TurboTax program are you using?

The TurboTax online web-based editions are only for tax year 2024 and cannot be changed.

The TurboTax desktop editions for tax year 2023 can only be used for tax year 2023. You would need to purchase one of the TurboTax desktop editions for tax year 2024 to complete and file a 2024 tax return - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/cd-download/

And...if you are trying to prepare a 2023 return and e-file---stop. You cannot e-file 2023. E-filing is closed for 2023. You have to mail it if you are filing 2023.
