it just includes the total payment and tax withheld.

Enter a 1099G for unemployment under

Federal on left

Wages & Income at top

Unemployment - Click the Start or Update Button

Put the total in box 1 and any withholding in box 4. You don’t need any other boxes.

Sorry I don’t know. I know it says that for 1099R forms but haven’t heard about 1099G forms. Are you entering it under 1099G for Unemployment and not in the 1099R place? Try deleting it and re enter it. They might not have the 1099G firm ready yet. I’ll try to check.
