Turbo Tax Deluxe 2024 errors

The taxes withheld from W2 are not transferred to 1040 line 25a and cannot be manually entered in forms.

Attempting to enter 1099-INT results in error popup "Hmm, looks like we've hit a snag."

This product is unusable as it is, very poor quality control.

What TurboTax program are you using?

The TurboTax online web- based editions?

Or the TurboTax desktop editions installed on a personal computer? If desktop, Windows or Mac

Entry of a W-2 with federal taxes withheld in box 2 of the W-2 automatically enters those taxes on the Form 1040 Line 25a. Using either the 2024 TurboTax Premier desktop edition for Windows or the 2024 TurboTax Premium online edition.

No issues entering a Form 1099-INT using desktop or online.

If you have the desktop editions have you updated your software to the latest release?

Click on Online and the click on Check for Updates.

Using the TurboTax desktop editions for Windows make sure you have selected Run as Administrator

The issue was with the Windows Desktop application. After completely uninstalling (installation repair did not fix it) and redownloading and reinstalling, while not updating upon launch, the problem has gone away.
