To access your prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

Start the 2024 online tax return by entering some personal information then click on Tax Home on the left side of the screen.

On the Tax Home webpage -

Scroll down to the section Your tax returns & documents. Click on the Year 2023 and Click on Download .tax file

If you used the Online version last year you can Transfer it into the Desktop installed program. Starting in 2023 there are new buttons when you start a new Desktop return. You can Import from Online or Transfer from Online. So look for those.

Or you need to log into your account and download the .tax2023 file. Then you can transfer that into the Desktop program.

i have looked in every menu and clicked on every button. i have not found a button to import from online return. i have also looked at every button in my online account. is all all possible forward a screen shot.
