      <description>&lt;P&gt;Same here.&amp;nbsp; Been using TT for at least 9 years, but now get the same stupid message.&amp;nbsp; Looking at "active tasks" list, it doesn't seem to be closing, even after rebooting - there are rows and rows of TT tasks active.&amp;nbsp; Maybe they think you should be on Windows 11?&amp;nbsp; Customer service has no idea what the problem is - all Intuit wants is your money.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Exactly the same :&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;"Looks like we’ve run into an error.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We’re sorry but we need to close TurboTax." etc, etc.&lt;BR /&gt;I tried calling Intuit helpline, spoke to a very nice lady who had no idea what the problem was: "it works on Windows 11" - Duh!&lt;BR /&gt;I'm guessing their tech guys are all on Windows 11 and assume everyone else is, except Win 11 needs a computer upgrade to work, and I ain't gonna do it.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi - Many users, including myself, had the exact same problem.&amp;nbsp; The following solution resolves the problem.&amp;nbsp; Go to Microsoft's website and upload the following software:&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;"Latest Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Version".&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Once you're at that software update section, they offer 3 links to choose from.&amp;nbsp; I chose the 3rd one which is the "X64" architecture link.&amp;nbsp; Since my computer already had the latest version, Microsoft gave me 2 options.&amp;nbsp; To "Repair" or "Uninstall".&amp;nbsp; I chose "Repair".&amp;nbsp; Do that.&amp;nbsp; After a few seconds, you will be prompted to "Restart" your computer.&amp;nbsp; Do that.&amp;nbsp; Once your computer is up and running, your Turbo Tax issue should now be resolved.&amp;nbsp; This solution fixed my problem.&amp;nbsp; Good luck.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I cleared the cache and cookies and have 700GB of free space. I deleted Turbotax and reinstalled it to verify the installation. It did not fix my problem where Turbotax will connect to "Wells Fargo" but not "Wells Fargo Advisors." Both companies are on the Financial Institutions drop-down.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
