      <description>&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;SSA-1099 and SSA-1099SM are the same. &lt;SPAN class=""&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/SPAN&gt;Look at the bottom left of your SSA-1099 form.&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/SPAN&gt;It says SSA-1099SM there.&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/SPAN&gt;Here’s a sample of the 2019 SSA-1099 form.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="SSA 1099.png" style="width: 999px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/image/serverpage/image-id/44668i316774DD13A41E12/image-size/large?v=v2&amp;amp;px=999" role="button" title="SSA 1099.png" alt="SSA 1099.png" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Just an FYI: The SSA-1099-&lt;U&gt;SM&lt;/U&gt;&amp;nbsp;is for Self Mailer - this means that there is a special paper that is folded &amp;amp; sealed and mailed without an envelope. There are preforations so receipient can open easily. This is a cost-efficiant way to send out these documents.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
