Neither the gross amount or taxable amounts of two pensions were imported and included on Form- 1040-SR, line 5a and 5b with other pension income, however the amount of federal taxes withheld was properly included on line 25b. The 1099-R's show the correct amounts as gross distribution, taxable amount, and Federal income tax withheld (100%).

For what year? Did it show up on lines 4a & 4b instead? Yes you have to double check anything you import. Are you saying you had 100% of the gross amount withheld for taxes?

At this time of year, importing forms is not going to work. Import information for previous years is no longer available, and information for 2024 is not available yet. Delete the imported 1099-R forms and enter them manually. That will take a lot less time and effort than trying to figure out why the import didn't work properly.

Or did you get a letter from the IRS saying you didn’t report those 1099R?
