While trying to install TurboTax 2024 I get a message that say I have no internet connection but I do how do I get past this never get to sign on page

First, if you have a firewall try to temporarily disable it and try again.
Note that some firewalls allow it to learn new connections. If yours does set it to learn and try again.

If it still does not work do the same with your antivirus.

Just remember to re-enable after you are finished.

I have the same problem. I've disabled firewalls and Defender, cleared cache, uninstalled and reinstalled, set as administrator, set as trusted site.... how do i get this thing activated????

me too. so frustrating its like they are trying to run me to another program. I have tried everything in 5 or 6 posts on this forum

I have the same problem with 2024 TT - however, 2023 TT will connect and update with no problem.

Same problem, get to activation screen, remains blank for a while then popup says I have no internet connection. Have rebooted, reinstalled, turned off firewall, run as administrator, all fails and won't let me get past the activation screen, have used turbotax for 15 years, never a problem with CDs, even on this current 4 year old Windows 10 PC, only this years, first time forced to download and register.

Finally when you call turbo tax they say they are aware of the problem and to try again. I waited a little and tried again and it activated. Would have been nice if they had put a huge announcement on their website before I spent 3 hours trying to troubleshoot.

Also, I never had a problem with the CD. Bring back the CD!

Ultimately called the tech support number and was sent a patch to download. After downloading, and with some additional effort, was able to get 2024 to install (but was a bit of a pain!!)
