Can't download Turbotax

Hello,

I've been trying to install the turbotax software I've acquired but I cannot download it. When I got it from the turbotax website I did not receive I license key via email and I cannot download it from the store page.

Can anyone help me with this?

p.s. I cannot make a call to the help line as moved out of the country.

When I log into https://accounts.intuit.com/ it's more or less the same story

Yes, I am trying to amend but the issue I'm having is with downloading the actual software. Even in emails when i got the software I was supposed to get a license code/key but I did not get one.

I have the same problem, exactly. I have not received an email with a code. I have asked but still have not received one. Can't UNDERSTAND the call center employee.

just give it some time. i believe it takes the system a few days to assign the codes.

I have the same problem every year. I do not want to enter all of my financial info in the cloud. I want an easy option from Intuit/Turbotax to select download and easily pay for it and get the key. It seems to be impossible. I have done the download, signed into my account(s) and can't see it registering this download and, therefore, giving me a key.

Having these two goofy sign-ons between Intuit and Turbotax make no sense and are extremely confusing. they don't seem to be much different or tell much different information.

@kcieplik When you purchased the TurboTax 2024 desktop edition you were giving a license code for the software.

With that license code go to this website to download your purchased edition - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/cd-download/install-turbotax/

Hi, that is the challenge. There isn't really a place that I can find to 'purchase' the download. there's a page where you can do the download. https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/cd-download/install-turbotax/

After it's downloaded and you try and use it (2024 Desktop Deluxe), it asks you to sign in to your account. It then prompts you for the key code which I have yet to receive. It doesn't seem to know that I downloaded somethign and am trying to purchase it.

When I try to open my downloaded file, I get a message that says “ there has been an error during your download “ Then I am unable to open the home and business file.

Switch to a different browser. Firefox blocked the download; I switch to Safari and was successful.
