what amount does a head of household with one dependent enter on line 3? I keep getting only &400 to $600 taken out for the entire year! I've used 2000, now using $500. still not enough withdrawing! What amount do you enter to NOT owe?

While I can appreciate your frustration with this situation, I would strongly suggest you go here and run the numbers:

W-4 Calculator 2024

This will allow you to figure out what your tax withholding should be, and to avoid being in an owe position at the end of the year with little to no tax withholdings.
