Hello,

I just filed my taxes and I had to correct the birthday - which i received an email about. about 30 minutes later i got a text from 60682 stating my return was rejected. it did not give any detail as to why and the site does not specify the reason for the rejection. Can you confirm if it was rejected and the reason?

No one in the user forum has access to your account or to any information regarding a rejection you received. If the e-file was rejected, you can print, sign and date your return in ink, and mail it in.

When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s. Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.

Federal and state returns must be in separate envelopes and they are mailed to different addresses. Read the mailing instructions that print with your tax return carefully so you mail them to the right addresses.
