I filed with Turbotax for 2023 return. The system will not allow me to add tax pro services to my account. I’ve talked to reps no one can help me.

I currently have the deluxe version and I need to file an amended return. There is no option to speak with a tax pro or add tax pro services. When I navigate to the website and try start with a tax pro, after I’m forced to log in I always end up within my account with no option for a tax pro, no button, nothing. I’ve talked with phone reps totaling hours and we have clicked on and searched every single thing in the system and there is no option for a tax pro. I simply want to pay for tax services for an amended return

When you say you "currently have the deluxe version" ---- do you mean you have the CD/download---the desktop software on your own computer? The "Live" experts do not help with that. They are only available when you are using online software. You cannot add pro services if you have desktop software. Sorry. Post your questions here and someone in the forum may be able to help. But we cannot see your screen or your tax return.

Do you need help with how to amend a return that was prepared using desktop software---or is your issue more than that? What are you trying to change? Has your original 2023 return been processed already?

To clarify, I have been using the online version. I do not have downloaded software. The kind of subscription is listed as Deluxe.

You will not be able to add TurboTax Live services after the return has been filed. You cannot add it get help with amending. You can post your questions about amending here and someone will help,
