I started with online version to file an extension.

Recently I already purchased / paid for a TurboTax Deluxe Edition - Federal Returns + Federal E-File with State Returns – CD Version.

So that I don't have to re-do the inputting of info and pay for the above-referenced product again, can you please provide a TurboTax Deluxe Edition - Federal Returns + Federal E-File with State Returns Service Code?

I can provide proof of purchase along with License Code and CD info.

Did you fill out your return online? You can download the .tax2023 data file without paying for Online and continue in the desktop version

You need to install the program on your computer and move your online return to the Desktop program. How to switch…….

After you get the program installed the first thing to do before you open your tax return .tax file is to update the program and install any state programs you had. Then open your file. So you first might need to start a fake return to be able to download the state program (go to FILE - NEW).

Did you make a payment with the extension? To enter the amount you paid with an extension (including state extension) go to

Federal Taxes (or Personal for desktop H&B version)

Deductions and Credits

Then scroll way down to Estimates and Other Taxes Paid

Other Income Taxes - Click the Start or Update button

Next page second section Payments with Extension

Either Visit All or Click Start or Update by the extension you paid

For 2023 Federal Extension payments should be on schedule 3 line 10. And go to 1040 line 31.
