Yes, you can sign out now from the TurboTax online editions. When you are ready to sign back in make sure that you use the correct UserID and password for the account.

At the bottom left of the online program screen click on Sign Out.

Note - The 2023 tax return can only be e-filed on or before October 15, 2024. After that date the 2023 return can only be printed and mailed. At the end of October the online editions will close to make way for the 2024 online editions. So to file a 2023 return after the end of October you will need to use the 2023 TurboTax desktop CD/Download editions to be installed on a personal computer.
