How many allowances should I claim on my W-4? I am a full-time college student, I am single, I have 2 jobs and I do not claimed by my parents because I am an independent student. Also, if I claim 2 allowances will I have to pay back to the IRS when I file my taxes at the end of the year?

There are no "allowances" on a W-4 now. Please look at a current W-4 form and use the W-4 calculator and instructions to complete one.

Best to use the IRS Withholding Calculator since you have two jobs. It will tell you exactly how to complete the W-4 for each job. Have your most recent paystubs handy. If you income is less than $14,600, you should not need to have anything withheld.

https://www.irs.gov/individuals/tax-withholding-estimator
