I’m looking to purchase an iPad Pro.y Mac is too old and I’ve been using windows but want the Mac. Can I use home and business turbo tax on the iPad Pro but get previous filings over from the windows computet

The CD/download software works on a full PC or Mac--not on any sort of iPad or mobile device. If you purchase an iPad you will be able to use the online software, but not the CD/download.

So the online software does it copy over previous years and will it give the option for home and business

There is no "Home and Business" in online. The online version you would want is called Premium. And, yes, you can transfer a 2023 tax file from your Mac to the online version for 2024. You will be able to transfer 2023 in to the 2024 online software to get started on your 2024 tax return. No, you cannot move older past years to the online account. Those files will always be stored only on your own hard drive or any back up device you use like a flash drive.
