You can only transfer tax data from the previous tax year to the current tax year using TurboTax.

For example - 2022 tax data can be transferred to the 2023 tax return. But 2021 tax data cannot be transferred to the 2023 tax return.

No. You can only transfer a tax file from the previous year---2022 in to 2023. You cannot transfer data from an earlier year to a 2023 tax return.

Sorry you can only Transfer from the immediate prior year like 2022 into 2023. Are you using the Online version or the Desktop program? There is one way. If you have the .tax file for that year and the desktop program for the next year, like have the .tax2021 file and the 2022 Desktop program. Then you can transfer 2021 into 2022 and then transfer the new .tax2022 file into 2023.
