How do I insert my activation code from Costco?

I sign into my account, where the product tells me I will be asked for an activation code but it doesn't. How do I do it? Apparently it wants me to use the desktop version/ How do I do that?

You bought the Desktop program from Costco. You need to install it. You should not use the Online version. You can't apply the License Code to the Online version.

Did you buy the CD or download? I bought the download from Costco if you need help installing it.

You purchased the TurboTax desktop CD/Download edition from Costco. You need to download and install the software on your personal computer, not use the TurboTax online editions.
