    <description>&lt;DIV class=""&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;What if I did not receive a 1099-C.&amp;nbsp; Even though it was settled July 13, 2023, original debt was from 2008, been paying 50 a month for ten years?&amp;nbsp; The debt servicer says its not their job, talk to the original credit card.&amp;nbsp; So I called credit card and they said there is no 1099-C, but I might get one at the end of next year.&amp;nbsp; They would not provide a TIN.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;I think the IRS says, I need to file one, even if, I did not get a 1099-C, should I file one without The TIN? I looked up their address and have the last four of the abandoned account.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;</description>
