Done with 2023 fed return and got refund, need CA State tax filing only because of AGI exceeding CA FTB E-file limit. if I buy your online deluxe , would it allow not to file Fed and proceed to State filing.

How or where did you file federal? You can only efile state from the same account that federal was accepted. Or you will have to print and mail state.

If you didn't use Turbo Tax for federal, There is a way but you first have to fill in the federal and pay for federal for it to flow to state. You will have to mail state. See,

i am planning to buy online deluxe and can go thru fed input but not filing and go to CA state filing, i just want to compare Intuit filing Vs mine (if i have to mail it)
