Info from K-1/K-3 does not populate Schedule D properly

I have a K-1/K-3 (form 1065) that I have entered into TurboTax. In box 11 there is code S and also code ZZ. The amount for code S is divided into short term capital gains and long term capital gains. The instructions I got with the K-1 say to enter the short term captials gains in to line 5 on schedule D and long term capital gains into line 12 on Schedule D. However, software puts the combined amount into form 8949 with box C checked and this trnsfers to line 3 of schedule D, not lines 5 and 12. How can I adjust this manually? I am using download version of Home and Business edition.
