TRACKING NUMBER NOT THERE

I am having the same problem as others on this - nothing on my 1099-R form that would fit the number requested , there is no other tax info statement provided by the institution,

I called them and they had no idea what it could be that Turbotax is looking for.

Since I had federal taxes taken out of the funds and have to include the federal copy when i submit the taxes, I guess that means I have to submit my taxes manually instead of E-filing, which we are enouraged to do.

And there is no solution?

Then enter the Form 1099-R manually. It takes a minute or less to enter.

To enter, edit or delete a form 1099-R -

Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)
Click on Wages and Income (Personal Income using Home and Business)
Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)
Scroll down to Retirement Plans and Social Security
On IRA, 401(k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R), click the start or update button
